Making money from football

It is no secret that today there are people who make money from football as a sport. Either with shares in various sports clubs such as Manchester United, etc . so-called "real-time betting" ). There are many ways to make money from football. However, the best way is to trade leveraged CFDs on football teams that you think will do well in the upcoming season(s).

If it looks like the team is doing well - either this season or next season - it is a good idea to check if the club is a business, i.e. a company, not an association. If the team is indeed a company, such as Manchester United, then this could be a great opportunity to trade your shares with leverage, which means you earn more on price movements than if you were to trade a regular traditional stock.

If you do this, you can easily make money on football, the better your team will be in just a few years. Even months. The shares of football clubs mostly change depending on the finances of the team, but also on the performance of the team in the series.

If a team does not succeed, it usually means fewer contracts, less franchise revenue and worse sponsorship deals (because sponsors go to teams that win leagues for maximum promotion). Teams usually solve this problem by signing long-term contracts, but it would be a good idea to double-check this because if teams don't have it, they are a bit more susceptible to losses and poor performance.

What is leverage?

Leverage, or leverage, is an effect that increases your profit or loss when it comes to trading stocks. Thus, you are not trading real shares, but so-called "CFDs", which stands for "contracts for difference". These contracts move in relation to stock but have leverage which makes them special.

Leverage is a "multiplier" that causes your contract following stock to go up and down significantly more than the stock, despite the same change. Example: you want to buy Manchester United shares. You then buy a CFD contract on Manchester United shares. You can then select the leverage you want, and here they can range from 1x to 500x, but we are talking 10x. You then buy a CFD contract with 1:10 leverage. If Manchester United shares move 5% in a positive direction during the day, you simply make a 50% profit. This works both ways. If the share falls by 5%, you lose 50%. That's why it's important to be careful. But isn't it great if you believe in the team?

Where can you trade CFDs?

You can trade CFDs with so-called 'CFD brokers'. They are easy to find on the Internet by a simple search of "CFD broker" or "CFD trading". Google usually lists the best results at the top, so finding such trading platforms is not that difficult.

However, as said, it's important to be very careful, as easily comes easy. What you earn can just as easily disappear when it comes to quick money, but as long as you are careful, there should be no danger. If you find a team that you think will succeed this season, check to see if they have stock or not. If they do, consider trading them in the form of a CFD contract! You'll never know. If things go your way and the stock you bought is up 100% in the real market and you trade it with 1:100 leverage, that means a 10,000% increase. You don't need to invest a lot, but invest SEK 500 and it can become SEK 50,000, and if that doesn't work out, the world won't end.
