Brazilian Poker Player of the Year! Yuri Martins takes over second place in the ranking of the best

Owner of two WSOP bracelets and after an incredible journey in this year's series in Las Vegas, the Brazilian is the second best in the GPI ranking

The main ranking of live poker, the Global Poker Index (GPI), released on Friday (12) a new update that can be celebrated by Brazilians. Yuri Martins, star of 9tales and ambassador Partypoker rose to second place among Latin American players. He overcame the Argentinian Ezequiel Waigel and is now only behind the Colombian Farrid Jattin, a fair recognition for the work of the Brazilian star. Best poker on

The first place in the Latin American GPI ranking has 2,848.96 points, followed by Yuri Martins' 2,350.36 and Ezequiel Waigel's 2,348.95. The dispute between second and third place promises many emotions in the next updates, since the difference between the two is really minimal. Felipe Mojave and Renan Bruschi are other Brazilians in the Top 10 of South America's best.

In the world ranking, the leadership is still in the hands of the American Chance Kornuth, who has an incredible 3,417.67 points, followed closely by his fellow countryman Adam Hendrix, who has 3,290.67 points. The third position is held by the Bosnian flyer Ali Imsirovic, who now has 3,158.42 points and moved up three positions in the ranking.
